Pilmera was created by people who are passionate about virtual reality and its many fantasy and real-world applications. Be it for recreation, improving technique/fitness or educational, VR takes it to another level filled with fun and amazement that we want to share with others. We are a family-friendly local business that cares about providing an unforgettable experience to all who enter.

We are proud citizens of the Antelope Valley and are committed to enriching the community. We look forward to contributing to Lancaster’s bright future through educational, artistic, and collaborative initiatives.

With a wide assortment of single player and multiplayer games to suit all tastes, as well as simulated driving booths and cutting-edge Virtual Escape Rooms, you’ll never want to come back to reality. No joysticks, no button combos, no characters: come find your adventure at Pilmera.

1. What is virtual reality?

Virtual reality, or VR, is a technology that allows its user to put on a headset and enter a completely immersive virtual world. Whether you choose experiences within this “new world” that imitate or are completely different from the outside world you know, the artificial environment created by VR will feel realistic in ways that will defy your imagination.

2. Can anyone experience VR?

Currently there are restrictions for users 12 years old and younger. There are also limitations based on certain physical or medical conditions, which are covered in more detail on our liability waiver and our safety rules. If you aren’t able to experience VR, don’t fret- Pilmera has something for everyone, including video game console cars, air hockey and retro arcade cabinets. Come and see for yourselves!

3. Do I have to pay online to reserve? What if something happens and I cannot make it?

We ask for payment upon booking an online reservation so that we may secure your time slot and ensure the most efficient check-in process possible. Not to worry if you must cancel or reschedule- you may do so up to 1 hour before your reservation time in order to receive a full refund.

4. What should I bring with me to my visit?

A couple of items are essential: We require photo ID to verify your age. If you are under the age of 18 you must have parental/guardian consent, so we ask that they be present to show ID and sign our liability waiver for you to participate in any of Pilmera’s activities. We also recommend clothing that is comfortable and does not restrict movement, though it is not required.

5. Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is free! There is ample parking beyond our store which can be accessed from Fern or Elm Avenues if you cannot find an open spot on Lancaster Blvd.
